Extractives, with a focus on quarrying
-
Horticulture, with a focus on pipfruit, kiwifruit and viticulture

A fourth intake is due to start shortly. The programme is a mix of on-job practical and off-job theory based units that are delivered in-house by trained trainers/assessors. Economic Impacts of Proposed One Plan Limits on Nitrogen Leaching/Run-off Values
Horizons Regional Council notified a proposed regional plan in May 2007 which would require intensive land users in priority sensitive catchments to hold a consent for their farming activity and limit the level of nitrogen from their farming operations.
